The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band thanks everyone who attended our combined concert. The rain held back until after our concert.
We thank the Salem Quaker City Band for sharing the stage with us. We have heard so many good comments.

This $8 Voucher is really worth $10 and can be exchanged at the Scrappers Box Office for a ticket to the home game of your choice. You SAVE $2, you help YACCB, AND you can enjoy a thrilling Scrappers game. It's a good deal for everyone!
You can buy vouchers TWO ways: 1. From any YACCB band member (make checks payable to YACCB); or 2. Online at our website, yaccb.org or yaccb.com. Use the PayPal/Credit Card "Donate" button to make a payment to YACCB. While doing this, please put in a comment that you are buying Scrapper Vouchers. We will contact you to deliver your vouchers in person or by mail. It's as easy as that.
YACCB is also playing a short pre-game concert twice: Saturday, July 5 and Saturday, July 19 at 5:30pm. Games start at 7:05 pm.

Six members of our trombone section played the opening Star Spangled Banner for the Scrappers Game on Sunday, Aug 11. Following their performance, a donation check for $987 was presented for the YACCB's participation in the Mahoning Valley Scrappers' non-profit group 2013 ticket voucher sales fundraiser. Thank you to our friends from Jeannette, PA Community Band who shared the stage with us at Maag Theater in Boardman Park this past Sunday the 21st at 2:00 pm. This was our 6th year of our Music in the Park with Friends. Thanks to our audience for attending. It was a fantastic day. Good weather, good music, good food, and good friends. The May 19 performance by the Stambaugh Chorus and the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band was outstanding. Many thanks go to so many people who spent time and work in preparing the exceptional moving performance of "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace" by composer Karl Jenkins. The perfomance was enhanced by a video depicting the text. We were privileged to be the United States premiere performance with wind band. YACCB concert last night, April 27, at the DeYor was well received by the audience. "Thank You" goes to so many people: Joe Pellegrini, Conductor, who spent many hours preparing and rehearsing the band; the band members who played so well; the choir from SMARTS who sang our National Anthem; Rich Morgan from WKBN for an outstanding narration of Lincoln Portrait; Becky Keck , Director, and the other leaders of SMARTS who are so dedicated to this worthy cause; and the receptive audience without whom the concert would mean nothing.
