YACCB is honored to be chosen as one of six community bands to perform

at the annual Association of Concert Bands (ACB) Convention to be held in Pittsburgh March 30 through April 3.  ACB member bands are selected by audition from many bands that apply from across North America.

ACB holds an annual convention where directors, band members, managers, industry leaders, administrators, and educators exchange personal views, share experiences, and learn from educational seminars and musical performances. Each year, the convention is held in a different location, hosted by a member band. This year's convention is being hosted by the East Wind Symphonic Band, based in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh.

As part of the annual convention, the ACB and the East Winds are proud to present the following concerts free of charge to the public.  The convention opens with a special guest performance by the world-renowned River City Brass.  All concerts will be held at Soldiers and Sailors Hall in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
