Performance at ACB Convention ...

On the evening of March 31, 2016, we performed our concert at the magnificent Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh, PA at the annual Association of Concert Bands (ACB) Convention.  Six community bands were chosen to give an hour's concert to an audience of musicians who came from all over the United States.  The 4-day convention is held each spring and is sponsored by a local community band at their location.  This year's convention was sponsored by East Winds Symphonic Band and was held in Oakland area of PIttsburgh.

YACCB is again selling vouchers for Mahoning Valley Scrappers Home Games. Vouchers cost $8 and have a $10 face value.  They must be exchanged at the Mr. Rooter Box Office at Eastwood Field for a $10 Box Seat ticket to a home game of your choice.  Click here to get detailed information.

Like most non-profit organizations, we exist entirely on the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and friends.  We currently have multiple ways of generating much needed funds.

The members of our band believe in what we do, we have experienced the positive affect  that music has on individuals, and we love performing music to so many people in our surrounding community and beyond.  All of this takes money - for music, equipment,  storage, special events, etc.  Many special needs have been met by donations, such as the renting of Stambaugh Auditorium for our special annual Christmas Concert where 100% of the money collected is given to The Second Harvest Food Bank.  This past spring we hired a bus to take us to the ACB Convention to play for a national audience of community band musicians.

Please check out the opportunities listed below for ways you can help.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
