I just received word from Norma about the funeral arrangements:
I think the death notice will be in the vindy Sunday or Monday.
Mike's obit will be in the paper by the middle of the week.

I received another update on Mike from Norma today, I'm afraid that it was not the update we were hoping for.
Mike died yesterday afternoon around 3:30pm at Cleveland Clinic Palliative Care Unit. He died very peacefully.
Funeral services are in the process of being arranged. The obit will be in the Vindicator tomorrow or Sunday. The services will not be this wkend. Most likely, they will be held next weekend.
I'd like contributions to go to the community band.

I've already responded to Norma with our sympathies and an offer to assist her in any way possible. I'd encourage anyone who wants to send a personal message via e-mail to send it to Mike's e-mail address, or I will pass anything along as well.
As soon as I have information regarding the funeral I'll pass it on as well. |
